Moonlit Forest: Fantasy UI Kit for Godot 4

Moonlit Forest is a fantasy user-interface kit for Godot 4. It uses deep forest greens, moonlit silver-teal and warm gold trim, and comes with a ready-made Godot theme so you can style a menu in minutes.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

- 24 UI components: buttons (primary, secondary, icon, close), panels (main, menu, settings, tooltip, dialogue), name tag, title banner, health, mana and progress bars, inventory slot, toggle, slider, checkbox, tab, scroll bar, divider, corner ornament, selection highlight and notification badge. Interactive parts have normal, hover, pressed and disabled states.

- 12 icons: settings, inventory bag, map, quest scroll, heart, coin, sound on, sound off, back, close, home, star.

- A Godot 4 theme (moonlit_forest.tres) with ready-made variations for buttons, labels, panels and bars.

- Two demo scenes: an in-game screen (menu, dialogue, inventory) and a feature tour (settings tabs, sliders, toggles, scroll bar).

- Every part as SVG and as PNG at 1x, 2x and 4x, so you can use them in Godot or any other tool.

WHO IT'S FOR

Solo developers and small teams who want a consistent fantasy look for menus, dialogue and inventory screens: RPGs, adventure games, fantasy card or puzzle games, game jams and prototypes.

HOW TO INSTALL (GODOT 4)

1. Unzip the package.

2. Copy godot/assets/ and godot/theme/ into your project.

3. Set Project Settings > GUI > Theme > Custom to res://theme/moonlit_forest.tres, or assign it to a scene's root Control.

4. Open the godot/ folder as a project to see the demo scenes.

The theme is designed for 1920x1080. For smaller layouts use the 1x PNGs (see the README). No font files are included: the kit uses Godot's default font, and you can set your own.

TESTED WITH

Godot 4.7.2 stable. Older Godot 4.x versions may work but haven't been tested.

LICENCE IN PLAIN WORDS

Use the assets in your own games, apps and videos, commercial or not, modified or not. No royalties and no credit required.

You can't resell, share or redistribute the raw files as an asset pack, template or UI kit, free or paid, or upload them to asset stores or file-sharing sites, or use them to train AI models. Shipping them inside your finished game is fine. Full text in LICENSE.txt.

HOW IT WAS MADE (AI DISCLOSURE)

The art is produced by code-based generators written with AI assistance. I then reviewed and tested the results: the files, the theme, the demo scenes and the readability of every label. No image-generation model was used to draw the art, and no third-party art, fonts or audio are included.
